Notepay is a record-keeping tool — nothing more. Below are the full terms, written plainly so you actually understand them.
1. Nature of the Service
Notepay is strictly a record-keeping and tracking tool designed to help communities, organizations, and individuals track expenses, collections, and contributions.
Notepay is not a bank, financial institution, payment gateway, or money transmitter. No real monetary transactions are processed, held, or transferred through Notepay servers.
2. User Responsibilities & Accuracy
Users and Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy of any numbers, data, or records entered into the application.
Notepay does not verify, audit, or guarantee the authenticity of offline financial records maintained by event organizers.
Any disputes regarding discrepancies in records must be resolved directly between the involved parties.
3. Public Collection Links & Auto-Contributions
External Payments: All transfers occur directly between the contributor and organizer via external UPI apps. Notepay only generates UPI URLs/QR codes and verifies receipt images.
UPI Configuration: Organizers are solely responsible for entering a valid UPI ID and UPI Registered Name. Notepay is not responsible for transfer errors.
AI Verification: Uploaded screenshots are processed by AI to verify payment details. Organizers retain ultimate authority over all ledger entries.
4. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Notepay or its developers be held liable for damages resulting from:
Loss, corruption, or inaccuracy of ledger data due to software errors or user mistakes.
Real-world financial losses or disagreements among organizers, collectors, or contributors.
Temporary service outages or unauthorized access to your account credentials.
5. AI Assistant Disclaimer
The @ai assistant is not a certified accountant or financial advisor. Its outputs should not be construed as professional advice.
While the AI strives for accuracy, errors may occur. You are solely responsible for verifying all mathematical totals.
6. Account Guidelines & Termination
You agree not to use Notepay for fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activities. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts or events if abuse, spam, or terms violations are detected.
